Welcome!
I’m a photographer and painter inspired by the work of Walker Evans and Robert Frank. My photography is rooted in storytelling — capturing quiet, often overlooked moments that speak to something deeper about time, place, and person. I often shoot in black and white to highlight texture, light, and subtle details that might otherwise go unnoticed. When I do use color, it’s intentional — especially when red is involved, a hue I’m instinctively drawn to for its emotional weight and presence.
My eye is drawn to the organic and the in-between — the things most people pass by. You’ll usually find me with a camera in hand, ready to freeze a fleeting scene before it disappears. I photograph everything from private events to street life, always seeking honesty and atmosphere.
In addition to photography, I’m also a painter currently exploring abstraction and conceptual work. My “Modernized” series is a shift from my realism — built from collected source materials and transformed into layered, abstract compositions. Painting allows me to express what I can’t always capture with a lens or explain with words.
I keep a semi-updated blog where I write about my work, travels, and art encounters. My work has been shown in exhibitions, sold in galleries, and lives in several private collections. I also offer scanning services for vintage photos and documents — a nod to my love for preserving what’s often forgotten.
I’m a late-diagnosed neurodivergent creative (I prefer the term “neurospicy”) — and that perspective shapes how I see, feel, and document the world around me.
