CREATIVE DIRECTOR + CREATIVE BUCKET-LIST - will get updated randomly
THINGS I WANT TO DO
Interior design- I am good at sourcing things for people since I go to a lot of estate sales as well as FB groups and the marketplace. I also would love to use my vintage photo archive as well (wallpaper, wall art, decor). Using my paintings and photos of course. I do have little experience in helping to stage with photos and Airbnb.
Picker/Sourcer - I have done this a handful of times but would love to do it more. Go to people's houses, estate sales, auctions, and shops looking for items for people. I have sourced cameras for people, farm tools, decor items, and furniture.
Artist/photographer- Would love to work with/for an artist, being their assistant and learning from them like a mentor.
CREATIVE IDEAS FOR PEOPLE
Book authors - Find small social media accounts that talk about books and give them a free book with an affiliate link. If you have free libraries around make a post that you are going to put 1-5 signed books in them. Ask your local library system if they would be interested in having your book. As well as see if there are small bookstores in the area and put some of your books in there. As you are in the library/bookstore see if they do author events.
Pickers- Contact junk removal people as well as dumpster rentals, Offer them money to dig through and take stuff, It will make them more money as well as save their business money since you're taking things. Less in the landfill as well.
Junk removal- Look for houses that are on auction sites or just listed on the MLS and find the owner or soon-to-be owner and make them an offer. Go to houses with a lot of junk laying around and leave a flyer or a note on the door.
Realtors - when you have a video of the property, talk about the property and the location of the property to help make it stand out. Also while staging a house have local artists and artisans work displaying, work with them.
Chief- make cool books/blog sites. Online workshops/courses. 1/1 classes, subscription model. Make products, your own ghost kitchen. Very limited-run restaurant.
