Hike #16
Hand Hallow is located in New Lebanon, NY, you may feel like your in the middle of now where. If you go during the summer and also other times of the year you may hear what sounds like a demo derby but its just the New Lebanon valley speed way. You may also hear animals moving around and birds. There are 3 big ponds on the hike the first one you will see as you drive up and the other 2 are on your hike.
There is a lot of mud and horses do go through the trails as well a bikers as you will notice there are some bike trails for them to use. There are also plenty of benches through out the park.
Austerlitz 200th
Austerlitz NY is celebrating is bicentennial this year along with Ghent. June 9-10 Austerlitz is celebrating theirs with history talks, car show, new historical markers, house tours, parade and other activities. The photos below are the photos I took today of the parade. This is a once in a life time small town event and a great photo opportunity. Most of the activity was in Spencertown NY which is right next door. Spencertown has some family history to me. My grandfather went to school in the academy as well as lived on the pheasant farm.

Big Chatham Show
Tonight I had my 4th show of the year in what was the building called Delson's aka my family store. This gallery is part of the gallery in Rhinebeck. The gallery is a member based gallery, where you pay to have your work shown and the show will rotate so the art is not in the same spot for ever. My work is on the back room wall straight ahead, 3 prints 2 older and 1 newer.
